In great condition, the Kandle model Congress One-Lever Barber Chair, with carved oak frame upholstered in velvet includes moveable footrest, adjustable headrest, sturdy wheels/legs and a large handle for swiveling the chair. The chair was used as a stage prop in the 1973 Broadway Production of "Gigi" with Alfred Drake, Agnes Moorehead, Daniel Massey, and Karin Wolfe that went to Broadway in the 1970's. My parents then bought it from the LA Civic Light Opera, and it's been in my non-smoking house since.
It's recently been appraised. I'm happy to share that report with you, if interested.
